Kayla joined the University of Colorado Denver Competitive Sports Staff in July of 2025 as a Graduate Assistant. Prior to that, Kayla served as a Sports Clubs Manager at Colorado State University and was an officer for the CSU Women’s Rugby program. She also gained experience working for Colorado State Football, National Collegiate Rugby, and the Colorado Rockies.

Originally from Chicago, she grew up watching what sports meant to people and has always been passionate about advancing opportunities in collegiate and community sports. Kayla has her B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Sports Management from Colorado State University. While here at CU Denver she will be pursuing her Master's in Business Administration. 

Incorporating Wellness

Wellness for me is about balance and consistency. I like to incorporate strength training, playing sports, outdoor activities, and spending time with friends and family to support both my physical and mental well-being.

How I can help

I can help with both sport club and intramural operations, student development, and supporting a positive experience for staff and athletes at CU Denver.
